The National Policing Improvements Agency (NPIA) provide a large and diverse portfolio of products and services designed to support the police service and wider policing family across the UK and internationally. As a policing organisation the NPIA acts as a central resource to the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and police forces, working with authorities and the Home Office to help improve the way policing works.

Representing a large solutions implementer Ascot Barclay were responsible for Programme Managing a high visibility national rollout of a new strategic technology to improve policing efficiency, along with the implementation of associated business change and transformation of processes covering all polices forces nationally. This involved the management of a number of diverse teams and work streams on a highly challenging and complex technical programme.

Managing and integrating a wide range of diverse internal and supplier capabilities into a single blended national solution which sits at the leading edge of policing technologies. Reporting directly to the Programme Review Board (PRB) on progress, risk and issues and financial status.
