The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre as part of the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) delivers a multi-agency service dedicated to tackling the exploitation of children. That means building intelligence around the risks, tracking and bringing offenders to account either directly or with local and international police forces and working with children and parents to deliver our unique ThinkuKnow internet safety programme. Security vetted individuals (SC) from the Ascot Barclay team provided Portfolio Programme & Change Management covering strategic and operational policing and intelligence systems and process's utilised by the organisation. One specific core project was focused on updating and developing the firms front end corporate web interface to the public and professional community, here we reviewed; process's, systems and procedures starting from initial contact through to resolution. Keys task was to improve the effectiveness and efficiency around managing and handling information provided by the professional and criminal justice community and the general public. Here Ascot Barclay staff managed 3rd party providers and multi departmental teams of specialists from across the criminal justice sector and wider Child Support community including; Barrnados, Child Line and Crime Watch. |
