About us

At Ascot Barclay our team is carefully selected for their proven skills, expertise and track record of delivering successful aspects of Change & Transformation linked to organisational redesign, employee engagement and performance improvement.

Our team of practitioners and change leaders have in general come from executive and senior level back grounds in industry or the Public sector and have wide ranging skills underpinned by training in our Active Business Change approach to Systems Thinking, NLP and Change Management.

In addition to our blended Systems Thinking framework one of our key differentiators is in our team based approach to delivery, recognising that no individual has all the skills and knowledge across all the disciplines necessary to deliver a complex strategic programme of change we have developed unified teams that are ready to work together from the outset of a programme. Like any top performing sports team each knows his area of the ‘pitch’ and the boundaries of responsibility that go with that position as well as the hand over and support points to ensure a cohesive and seamless delivery and transfer of skills to the clients own staff.

The final make up of each team is dependent on a specific client brief however a ‘typical’ team might include:

  • Change Programme Director (Full Time) – Holds the ultimate responsibility for delivering successful outcomes, plus Account Management, sponsor engagement, running of the PMO and programme strategy.
  • Communications Director/Manager (Full/Part Time) – Responsible for all aspects of communication and marketing on the programme/project.
  • Programme Accountant (Part Time) – Responsible for financial reporting and analysis, managing costs and client ROI.
  • Change Project Manager(s) (Full Time)– Dependent on the number of work streams there is typically more than one PM. Responsible for planning, delivery of tasks, resources and project assets.
  • Change Process and/or Systems Analyst(s) (Full Time)– Responsible for the analysis of effectiveness of existing process’s or systems and making recommendations to the project team in respect to delivering more effective and efficient ways of working.

During differing phases of the Change & Transformation process we may also bring in other skills as demanded by the programme and these might include, NLP Change Focused Trainers, Coaches and Mentors and others as the programmes moves from complex to business as usual (BAU).

Our objective is always to bring control and stability to a complex situation, prioritise and de-risk deliverables and transfer skills and responsibility back to your own leadership and integration teams at the earliest most appropriate opportunity.
