In most instances the audit presents as our engagement point and reviews ideally have the most senior sponsorship possible. However can and do come in effectively sized chunks to suit a wide variety of scopes and remits.

Findings are set out to clearly illustrate how your organisation compares with your peers and with sector best practice so you can focus on resolving gaps as a priority

Recommendations are concisely captured in priority order as part of the presented report. ABG are frequently asked to oversee the recommended actions until they are resolved and to achieve an acceptable "HACKER HARDENED" risk managed status.

FAQs

1How long does it take to complete the audit?
Depending on focus and depth typically from 1 month to 4 months
2Who do ABG need access to and how much of their time will you need?

Initially an hour or two from the Senior Leadership Team including:

CIO / CRO / CISO / DPO (or similar roles/ titles)
  • Compliance and Policy Principals
  • HR/IT/Risk/Operations Heads
  • Security Team leads
  • Wider management and staff as appropriate
3How do ABG present yourself on site – we want to be cautious with presentation?

We take great care to position that the SECURITY AUDIT is a verification consulting service not to catch people out rather to endorse what they do and explain the value of the extra mile in the context of the sector, data protection and the evolving cyber security theatre at large.
In all cases we find we are able to help those responsible for security spot aspects (sometimes glaring) that can be Hacker Hardened™ with little or no expense and of course it is appreciated by those we engage with that provided the recommended fix is implemented the Security Audit report needn't raise these resolved vulnerabilities to the board's attention.

4How much does it cost?

Our fees for Audits are banded based on agreed scope, the size of your organisation and the delivery timeline. The statement of work (SOW) is priced and agreed well in advance. Fee's very much depend on the final scope we endeavour to keep the line to the end deliverable as short and efficient as possible without compromising on quality.
Off-set of Audit fee's in whole or part is possible against subsequent service provision (particularly Managed Service solutions) where this has been agreed as part of a wider program of work.
